The shamisen is an extremely traditional Japanese instrument. There are
some kinds of playing these musical instruments in Japan. And, this Tsugaru
is the one. Tsugaru is old name of a place of Aomori in north Japan. The
shamisen in this region is called a Tsugaru shamisen.
Sawada Katsuharu is a modern player of samisen. He is popular in Japan
though his technique is modern.
