Andrew's Profile

Andrew
Andrew's Topic

He is from Murmansk in the northwest of Russia. I got to know him on this site last autumn (2009). And, we made friendship during about half a year with the guestbook, chat, and mail, etc. Moreover, he offered the topic of Russia to this site.

We made great friends to each other by the exchange and the joint work of this site. So I grandly welcomed him.

Our friendship is never-ending.

Travel of Andrew
The travel of Andrew passed Moscow from Murmansk where he lives. Travel is interesting though this distance is very long. The flight time from Moscow to Japan is nine hours. He might have been exciting because this time to visiting Japan was first for him.

Aeroflot
The airplane was used from Murmansk to Japan. The airline ticket fee of the round trip from Murmansk to Narita in Japan is about 90,000 yen. It is good price. The airline that he used is Aerofloat. Aerofloat is the maximum airline in Russia, and an airline with a long history.

Japan Travel
Andrew arrived at Tokyo on April 28, 2010. And, his travel started for about two weeks. He visited many of Tokyo. Moreover, he toured round various places in Japan by using Shinkansen of the railway. He visited Osaka, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, etc. Because Japan was very good at this season, he spent wonderful every day.

Shinkansen
Shinkansen is a rapid-transit railway in Japan, and connecting the major city in Japan, the traveler can move comfortable and quickly. However, the main railway company in Japan is JR (Japan Railway), and this JR has divided into 6 companies by the region. This is inconvenient for the traveler who runs through Japan. So Andrew bought common ticket to these 6 railway companies. This ticket can use the railway in most regions excluding part. This is a good method for the foreigner who travels around Japan.

Travel to Sapporo
Andrew visited Sapporo to meet Hiroki on May 8th, and 9th. The route to Sapporo has the airplane, the railway, and the ferry. My recommendation is an airplane.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) Pokemon Jet
Big airliner in Japan is JAL (Japan Airlines) and ANA (All Nippon Airways), and other airliner in Japan is Sky Mark, Air Do, and Skynet Asia. Andrew used ANA as an airline to Sapporo. And, Andrew was very lucky. Because the airplane to Sapporo was Pokemon Jet. His airline was specially.

Tabisaku
By the way, I reserved his airline ticket. Because the Japanese can buy the airline ticket cheaply. I used the special reservation service of ANA is called "Tabisaku", and this word "Tabisaku" means that making travel in Japanese. His reservation is from Tokyo to Sapporo round-trip ticket and hotel of 1 night stay in Sapporo. This total price is about 28,000 yen in this time. This is very good price. Please check this "Tanisaku" site when you come to Japan.

To Andrew from Hiroki

Registered seal (Legal stamp)
The registered seal is one of the@traditional cultures of Japan. Japan uses this stamp like the signature of Europe and America. I made this registered seal as a present to Andrew. This stamp is made from the hand of a special workman. And, Japanese Government admits the specification of this stamp, because this stamp is the highest class.

Registered seal (Legal stamp)
To make this stamp, I thought about Japanese character of Andrew. One Kanji character of Japanese has a lot of meanings and pronunciations. The Japanese gives the name the sound and the meaning for making person's name. The meaning of the name of Andrew that I made is "Dragon of peaceful land". And, this style of character " ˆΐ“y—΄ " is stylish very much.
This is the highest commemorative gift though the production of the stamp is not cheap. Please ask the Japanese if you have a Japanese friend.

(Andrew's camera)

It was very wonderful on these two days. I met the friend who came from Russia to Japan and have been impressed very much. Our conversation was very hard, because I cannot speak English perfectly. hahaha However, it is not a big problem. The reason is that we are friends already. And, this all of two days were very happy for us.

The distance in countries of the world is long. However, we people's minds are not far.

I am so grateful for Andrew, and I'd like to thanks to Masataka, Suu, and Sayaka who is Japanese and rooted for us.

And, I wish to meet again.
